Southern Bluegrass Shrimp Boil
One pot, a few simple ingredients, and a recipe that can easily be scaled up or down to meet your needs.
To a large stock pot add:
8 cups Water
1/4 Large Onion
1/2 Lemon
2 Stalks Celery, cut into thirds
1 Garlic Clove, smashed
2 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 tsp Pepper
Cover and bring to a boil. Once boiling add:
4 small Red Potatoes, halved
Boil for 15 minutes.
Add:
2 ears Fresh Corn on the Cob, halved
Boil for 5 minutes.
Add:
1 lb Raw, Shell-On Shrimp, thawed
Boil for 3 minutes.
Drain well. Place potatoes and corn back in pot and season with butter and salt. Add back in shrimp and squeeze remaining half of lemon over top.
Serve and Enjoy!
