Chicken Wings

These are a classic! They have great flavor and are perfectly crispy. No soggy chicken here. But here is the kicker…. they are also so simple you won’t believe it! Give them a try. You’ll be so glad you did.

In a Gallon Size Ziploc Bag, add:

  • 4 lbs. Chicken Wings

  • 2 tsp. Salt

Massage salt into meat. Place bag into the fridge and allow to sit for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

After meat has completed its “marinade,” remove from refrigerator. Place two to three inches of vegetable oil into a deep pot and place over medium high heat. The goal is to keep the oil at 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the cooking process. Once oil is properly heated give the chicken one last massage while in the bag. Place chicken into hot oil and fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Once cooked, place chicken in a large bowl and toss with your favorite sauce. This is mine:

3/4 cup BBQ Sauce (I love Sweet Baby Ray’s)

4 Tbsp. Bourbon

Heat until sauce comes to a boil. Remove from heat and pour onto wings. Give a toss and Enjoy!
