Chili

This 30 minute chili comes together in a snap. The flavors are full and well developed giving your taste buds a total delight. Pair it with some homemade cornbread for a real treat!

In a saucepan over medium high heat, brown:

  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef

  • 1/2 Onion, diced

  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, diced

  • Black Pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

  • 1 tsp. Cumin

  • 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder

  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped

Once browned, drain excess grease if needed. Reduce heat to a simmer and add:

  • 1 (14.5 oz) can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 cup Dark Red Kidney Beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1/4 cup Fire Roasted Green Chilies

Stir to combine and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. If desired, add cooked spaghetti and allow to simmer an additional 5 minutes. Serve topped with sour cream and cheddar cheese, if desired. Enjoy!
