Mashed Potatoes

So creamy and flavorful, these mashed potatoes will become your new favorite side dish.

Mashed Potatoes

In a sauce pan, add:

  • 8 medium sized Red Potatoes, diced into cubes

Cover with cold water and rinse well. Drain and replace with fresh water. Add:

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

  • 1 clove Garlic, smashed and peeled

Place over high heat and bring to boil. Continue cooking until potatoes are fork tender, about 15 minutes.

Drain potatoes well and add:

  • 2 Tbsp Butter

  • 1 Tbsp Cream Cheese

Cover and allow to sit for about 1 minutes, or until butter and cream cheese are softened. Transfer to mixing bowl. Add:

  • 1/2 cup Milk

  • 1 heaping teaspoon Sour Cream

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Mix together until light and fluffy. Add additional milk, 1/4 cup at a time, to reach desired consistency.

Top with pats of butter and dried parsley. Serve and Enjoy!
