Scalded Cornbread
So crispy and crunchy, there’s no way to eat only one!
In a bowl, whisk together:
1-1/2 cups Yellow Cornmeal
2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
Slowly add:
1 cup Boiling Water
Add only enough water to reach a moist dough consistency. Then add:
2 Tbsp Milk
Fry in hot skillet with 1/4” of vegetable oil for 7 to 10 minutes, or until beautifully browned and crisp. Enjoy!
